Roadworks planned over the next four months
Improvement works are taking place in a number of towns
Contractors working on behalf of Wiltshire Council will be carrying out road resurfacing and associated works in a number of towns across Wiltshire over the next four months:

Porton Road, Amesbury; works will take place from the junction with Pendragon Drive to the junction with London Road. An alternative route will be in place and clearly signed via London Road/ A345/ Smithfield Street/ Earls Court Road/ Boscombe Road/ Pendragon Drive in both directions.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
Cllr Dr Mark McClelland, Cabinet Member for Transport said, "We apologise in advance for any delays and inconvenience these works cause but hope that motorists and residents will understand that these works are necessary to continue maintaining our road network."
