People returning to offices and workspaces are being encouraged to consider buying a parking season ticket for Wiltshire Council car parks.
Season tickets help drivers save approximately 50% on the daily rate at Wiltshire Council car parks. For example, a permit for central long stay Salisbury is £87.00 per month, this equates to £4.35 per day on a five-day week and £3.62 per day for a six-day week. The standard daily charge is currently £8.90. Savings will however vary depending on the car park.
Season tickets are available at individual car parks across the county including those in Chippenham, Devizes, Melksham, Trowbridge and Salisbury.
Multiple cars can be registered on each season ticket, although the permit will only be valid for one vehicle at any one time.
Cllr Dr Mark McClelland, Cabinet Member for Transport, said: "The parking season ticket is a great way to make it more convenient and easy for those who are frequently using our car parks. Having a season ticket also means you can have unrestricted visits to the car park each day without making multiple payments.
"It's also a great way to budget your parking costs as the price is locked in for the duration of your ticket."
