The Royal United Hospitals (RUH) Bath needed specific stocks of PPE Face Masks FFP3 and asked for help from local organisations.

As Wiltshire Council had a recent PPE delivery, staff were able to respond and provide 4,500 of the FFP3 masks which were swiftly loaded and delivered to support the hospital's efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

Cllr Philip Whitehead, Leader of Wiltshire Council said: "It is essential we all work together in these unprecedented times. We were able to despatch these vital items to them very quickly when they put the call out. The RUH has a key role to play and we know that by working together we are all much stronger and more prepared to deal with the challenges we face during COVID-19."

James Scott, Chief Executive of the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust, said: "I'm incredibly grateful to Wiltshire Council for its generous donation of PPE masks. The support and offers of help we have received from local organisations and businesses has been incredible and is appreciated by all of us at the RUH."
