Wiltshire Council will be starting work to upgrade the existing traffic signals on Church Road in Heywood from Monday 17 March.
The traffic lights, which have come to the end of their life, will take approximately three weeks to complete and there will be a full road closure in place on Church Road for the duration of the works.
Parvis Khansari, Corporate Director - Place, said: We have a comprehensive traffic signal refurbishment programme in place, which helps us to identify and prioritise traffic lights that need refurbishing after they have reached the end of their design life.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however, improvements like this ensure all road users can travel around easily and safely.
Through traffic will not be permitted to travel through the closed section while the road closure is in place.
