To find out more about fostering with Wiltshire Council you can talk to the friendly team behind the scenes and hear from foster carers by joining a series of online events.

Art fans and book lovers will be able to once again enjoy the Edwin Young Gallery, reopening on Thursday 20 May, and some longer opening hours at libraries across Wiltshire from Monday 17 May.

Young people in care have been sharing their thoughts on what makes a good foster carer as Wiltshire Council launches a new campaign to encourage more people to consider fostering.

Library will have to close for a day

A number of Wiltshire libraries will start reopening from today (Thursday 7 January) to offer order and collect and bookable computer services.

Teenagers and those who have been in care are sharing experiences of how a foster family can change a life.

Support is available for private foster carers

Five more libraries will reopen in Wiltshire over the next three weeks. These libraries will be fully reopened for people to browse for up to 30 minutes, to select and loan books and book a computer for up to 45 minutes.
