It was an exciting day for Melksham today (1 August), as Melksham Community Campus opened to an excited public for the very first time - offering a variety of leisure, library and community services.

Children at eight Salisbury schools have worked with professional artists to create beautiful BookBenches that will be located at Salisbury Library during August before returning to the schools for the children to use in the autumn.

The campus will open its doors on 1 August from 10am

Wiltshire Council Libraries are encouraging families to take part in this year's 'Gadgeteers' themed Summer Reading Challenge which aims to inspire children to read as much as they can.

Melksham Area Board received an update on the construction of the community campus on Wednesday 9 March.

The South West Energy Hub, will work with Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire Council to deliver over £5 million worth of home upgrades

Five more libraries will reopen in Wiltshire over the next three weeks. These libraries will be fully reopened for people to browse for up to 30 minutes, to select and loan books and book a computer for up to 45 minutes.
