Wiltshire Council's Strategic Planning Committee has today (Wednesday 27 July) voted against approving a planning application from Northacre Renewable Energy Ltd for an energy from waste facility in Westbury.

Following public consultation on anti-social behaviour in Downton and Redlynch, Wiltshire Council is putting a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) in place in the area from Summer 2022.

Fires have been flaring up again on Salisbury Plain

An update has been provided on the ongoing fire on Salisbury Plain, with residents in the affected areas being asked to take sensible precautions where they can to keep them as safe as possible from the smoke.
