Confirmation of how Wiltshire's leisure centres, libraries and the history centre will be supporting the upcoming elections

Wiltshire Council has paid out more than £11m in the recently announced Restart Grants to 1,520 businesses, and is now opening the window for new Restart Grant applications to support businesses as they reopen following the easing of lockdown. In total, the council has paid more than £156m so far to Wiltshire businesses during the pandemic.

Eligible Wiltshire students and their families are being reminded of the support available if they need to self-isolate as a household due to COVID-19.

Wiltshire Council is urging people to cancel any bookings for household recycling centre (HRCs) visits that they no longer need, at least a day in advance, as more than 500 appointments are being missed during some weeks.

Wiltshire's libraries and the history centre are set to reopen from Monday 12 April, in line with Step 2 of the Government's roadmap

As non-essential retail, outdoor hospitality and personal care premises are set to reopen on 12 April, Wiltshire Council has updated and reissued its guidance for businesses once lockdown is eased.
