Ten leisure centres currently managed by Places Leisure will transfer to Wiltshire Council later this year

The formal transfer from Wiltshire Council to Cricklade Town Council has been completed

Wiltshire Council has worked with local leisure facility partners Places Leisure, Cricklade and District Community Association and Brian Whitehead Sports Centre Association (Downton Leisure Centre, operated by Gymies Ltd) to apply for support funding from the Government's National Leisure Recovery Fund and have been allocated £865k.

Following government confirmation that Step 2 of the roadmap will proceed, all 20 leisure centres across the county will reopen from Monday 12 April

Wiltshire Council has postponed the renewal process for garden waste collection until 15 June, due to the pressure on council services because of COVID-19. Garden waste collections will continue, provided the council's contractor has sufficient staff to maintain service delivery.
