Wiltshire Council is asking for residents to continue their good work to help 'Let's Sort It!' with some changes to the kerbside recycling service.

Wiltshire residents are being encouraged to recycle their previously unrecyclable pool accessories such as goggles and armbands, in an innovative way at swimming pools across the county.

Following recent new guidance from the Environment Agency, residents will see new bins at Wiltshire's Household Recycling Centres allocated for the separate disposal of upholstered domestic seating, such as sofas, armchairs, and home office chairs.

Wiltshire Council has released an updated version of its smartphone app, MyWilts, and is reminding residents that it is the quickest and easiest way to report issues such as road defects, fly-tipping, trading standards issues and more.

For this year's Recycle Week, Wiltshire Council is urging its residents to continue recycling despite the challenges that COVID-19 has presented.
