Wiltshire Council is reopening the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG, also known as discretionary payments) window for businesses who are yet to apply for any other funding.

Following the Prime Minister's confirmation of the move to Step 3 of the Government's roadmap on 17 May, and the reopening of more businesses, Wiltshire Council is asking people to keep following the current rules until they change on 17 May.

Wiltshire Council has paid out more than £11m in the recently announced Restart Grants to 1,520 businesses, and is now opening the window for new Restart Grant applications to support businesses as they reopen following the easing of lockdown. In total, the council has paid more than £156m so far to Wiltshire businesses during the pandemic.

Eligible Wiltshire students and their families are being reminded of the support available if they need to self-isolate as a household due to COVID-19.

As non-essential retail, outdoor hospitality and personal care premises are set to reopen on 12 April, Wiltshire Council has updated and reissued its guidance for businesses once lockdown is eased.

People are being urged to follow the Government's guidance and keep themselves and their loved ones safe over the Easter break

The Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub, which has proved a lifeline to many local residents during the pandemic, is taking on an additional role from 1 April.

As the first step on the Government's roadmap out of lockdown is implemented on 29 March, Wiltshire Council is updating people on the services available from that date, along with important public health advice.
