Wiltshire Council receives £4.4m decarbonisation grant to improve heating facilities and combat climate change

Parking charges to be reintroduced at all Wiltshire Council car parks
Wiltshire Council will reintroduce parking charges at all car parks, and on residential and on-street parking areas in the county from Monday 1 June. All parking permits and season tickets will also restart from this date, and parking wardens will enforce any parking contraventions in the county.

Muslim communities urged to celebrate Eid safely at the end of Ramadan

Timings to change at pedestrian crossings, as first road layout changes progress
Wiltshire Council is making changes to the time it takes for signal controlled pedestrian crossings to turn to the green man to reduce the amount of time pedestrians are stood at a crossing, and in turn aid social distancing.

Wiltshire Council garden waste collection renewals deferred to 15 June
Wiltshire Council has postponed the renewal process for garden waste collection until 15 June, due to the pressure on council services because of COVID-19. Garden waste collections will continue, provided the council's contractor has sufficient staff to maintain service delivery.
