An improved Elm Grove play area in Trowbridge has been reopened following refurbishment work by Wiltshire Council.

This week the tour will be taking in Tisbury, Amesbury, Five Rivers at Salisbury, Royal Wootton Bassett, Tidworth, Malmesbury and Westbury

Two years ago the council started a campaign to recruit 100 additional foster carers by spring 2023

The council funds 19 residents at Furlong Close, with 13 other residents funded by 12 other local authorities

The council is encouraging these people to consider fostering and help meet the demand for more people to foster with Wiltshire Council

People wanting to report domestic abuse will be able to access a new out of hours number from this week.

A community support service which has been available in eight areas in Wiltshire is being restructured and expanded to provide wider support across the whole county.

Wiltshire Council's Reablement Service has been shortlisted for a prestigious MJ award for the way it has worked with community health partner, Wiltshire Health and Care, to integrate its services into an aligned discharge facilitation service.

Residents at Furlong Close will continue to access care and support as usual while the future provision at the site is determined.
