Library will have to close for a day

People throughout Wiltshire can now have their say on the Local Plan review, and the Gypsy and Travellers Plan, as the consultations begin today.

Have your say on future developments in the county

A number of Wiltshire libraries will start reopening from today (Thursday 7 January) to offer order and collect and bookable computer services.

We are preparing to begin reopening Wiltshire libraries and the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre from 3 December.

People are urged to submit applications digitally through the Wiltshire Council website to avoid unnecessary delays.

Some of our libraries will be here for you during restrictions

Wiltshire's Household Waste Recycling Centres (HRCs) will remain open as the country goes into a second lockdown to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. People should continue to use the online booking system to book a slot, and maintain social distancing at all times when on site.

Some libraries will reopen soon

Households that pay to receive garden waste collections will receive an email or letter this week inviting them to renew their subscription by 14 August. New customers can also sign up to receive this service.
