Wiltshire Council is putting out a call for people considering a career in care to join them in a new service which helps people gain independence after a hospital stay.

There's still time for local people to feed into and help shape the vision for Future Chippenham as the online questionnaire is available until noon on Friday 7 January 2022.

Wiltshire Council's Cabinet has agreed the next steps for the Local Plan review, with consultation due to start in the new year.

People are urged to submit applications digitally through the Wiltshire Council website to avoid unnecessary delays.

Carer Support Wiltshire is running a series of virtual events and activities for this year's Carers Week. Running from 8-14 June, Carers Week shines a light on the thousands of unpaid carers there are in the UK. Across the UK today an estimated 6.5 million people or 1 in every 8 are carers and this includes many thousands who live in Wiltshire.
