There are now less than two weeks to take part in the Wiltshire Local Plan review consultation, and for people to have their say on where future developments may be built in the county in the next 15 years.

Wiltshire Council has confirmed that two cycle lanes, in Salisbury and Chippenham, will begin to be removed 1 March, conditions permitting, while three other schemes will be made permanent, and two new schemes are in development.

Work to transform Cricklade Leisure Centre is now complete, with the refurbished facility ready to provide high quality leisure services to residents.

Wiltshire Council has been awarded £22,924,000 from the Government's Highways Maintenance Fund for 2021/22 to pay for a range of highways maintenance and improvement programmes.

Next steps for cycling lanes in the county following results of a public consultation.

Works to improve the footway on the western side of the High Street in Melksham, between the Market Place and the signalised pedestrian crossing, will begin on Sunday 21 June for five weeks.

Resurfacing work on the A342 Nursteed Road and Southbroom roundabout in central Devizes will begin on Monday 15 June until Thursday 9 July, with the teams working through the night to minimise disruption.
