A new investment programme of £1m a year will begin in the coming months to encourage people back to Wiltshire's town centres and high streets.

Wiltshire Council's Cabinet will consider a new investment and regeneration plan for high streets in all 18 Wiltshire towns and its city, Salisbury, plus three large villages, Pewsey, Tisbury and Downton.

Wiltshire Council is visiting different towns in the county to mark Shared Lives Week from Monday 13 June - Friday 17 June

The council is part of a national scheme which helps people live as part of a family, within the carer's home

It will be discussed at Cabinet on 29 March

Local people are invited to come along to the public events taking place across Salisbury city centre in the coming weeks, to learn more about two of the transformational projects being supported by the government's Future High Streets Fund.
