From today, Monday 28 February, the waste collection days for nearly all Wiltshire properties will change.

Wiltshire Council is working with Hills Municipal Collections Limited to ensure minimum disruption to waste collection services in the event of any industrial action.

A man from Lyneham has been fined £400 after CCTV captured him leaving bin liners full of waste next to the recycling bins in Sainsbury's car park, Royal Wootton Bassett. The waste was deposited directly underneath a sign warning people not to fly-tip waste next to recycling bins, and advising them of the consequences of fly-tipping.
