A new investment programme of £1m a year will begin in the coming months to encourage people back to Wiltshire's town centres and high streets.

Wiltshire Council's Cabinet will consider a new investment and regeneration plan for high streets in all 18 Wiltshire towns and its city, Salisbury, plus three large villages, Pewsey, Tisbury and Downton.

Wiltshire Council is visiting different towns in the county to mark Shared Lives Week from Monday 13 June - Friday 17 June

The council has a three-year campaign to provide 100 new foster carers by spring 2023

There are now less than two weeks to take part in the Wiltshire Local Plan review consultation, and for people to have their say on where future developments may be built in the county in the next 15 years.

Wiltshire Council is encouraging people who may have time to spare or thinking of a new career in social care to join a government scheme that will support care provision across the county.

At Full Council on 23 February, Wiltshire Council Leader Cllr Philip Whitehead said a rapid scrutiny review will go ahead around issues surrounding Furlong Close where Wiltshire Council has a number of residents.

An additional online public webinar is being held this Saturday, 20 February 2021 at 11am, to provide a further opportunity for residents and businesses to find out more about the consultation on the Future Chippenham distributor road route options.
