A resident from The Friary in Salisbury has been issued with a fixed penalty notice for fly-tipping a sofa in a communal area.

Wiltshire Council is due to begin environmental surveys in February on the final phases of improvements to the A350 at Chippenham to dual the remaining single carriageway sections of the road past the town, and improve Bumpers Farm Roundabout, reducing congestion and improving journey times.

Beeline Coaches of Warminster have been contracted

Two Swindon householders have been issued with fixed penalty notices (FPNs) after their waste was found fly-tipped in the Wiltshire Council area in recent weeks.

Wiltshire Council will be temporarily closing areas within Emery Gate car park in Chippenham from 16 January 2022 until the end of July, to carry out essential structural works.

An alternative provider will run the Warminster to Salisbury route

At its meeting on Tuesday 1 June, Wiltshire Council's Cabinet will discuss the next steps for the proposed A350 Melksham bypass.

Fly-tipping will not be tolerated in Wiltshire.

A new pedestrian refuge island will be built on the A4 Curzon Street in Calne, slightly west of the junction of Savernake Drive. The works will start on Tuesday 1 June and will be completed by Friday 11 June 2021.

Project will see pedestrians and cyclists given priority as several streets in the city centre will be restricted for use by through traffic.
