May is Local and Community History Month and Wiltshire Council is celebrating local history with an array of events and exhibitions at libraries across the county.

The event was for young people from Year 9 upwards to give them food for thought on their future careers and the steps to take to achieve their ambition

99% of Wiltshire families have been offered one of their three primary school preferences for this September with 95% offered their first preference.

Young people from across Wiltshire came together on Friday (8 April) for a special Star Awards ceremony.

The work will extend the existing campus to provide a high quality provision for 350 pupils by September 2023

Wiltshire Council delivered a successful free holiday activity and food programme for children on free school meals across Wiltshire during the Easter holidays, funded by the Department for Education.

Art fans and book lovers will be able to once again enjoy the Edwin Young Gallery, reopening on Thursday 20 May, and some longer opening hours at libraries across Wiltshire from Monday 17 May.

Wiltshire Council has worked with local childminders and activity providers to create a childcare and activity directory for use by critical workers during the upcoming Spring half term holidays.
