Wiltshire Council leaders have today (Tuesday 29 June) agreed to move forward with the next stage of the Wiltshire Local Plan, after receiving a report on feedback from local communities and other stakeholders in the recent Local Plan Review consultation.

Wiltshire Council is asking residents at its sheltered housing sites to give their views on how they can best be supported to live independently in the future.

Wiltshire Council's Strategic Planning Committee has today (Tuesday 22 June) voted to approve the planning application from Land & Mineral Management, on behalf of Northacre Renewable Energy Limited (NREL), for a revised 'energy from waste' facility in Westbury.

The committee will meet at 10.30am on 22 June in the Council Chamber at County Hall, and to ensure more people have the chance to watch, it will be streamed live online on Facebook and YouTube.
