A vigilant man has become the first Wiltshire resident to receive a financial reward through Wiltshire Council's We're Targeting Fly-tipping (WTF) campaign after witnessing an offence of fly-tipping in Purton

Wiltshire Council is making changes to the time it takes for signal controlled pedestrian crossings to turn to the green man to reduce the amount of time pedestrians are stood at a crossing, and in turn aid social distancing.

In addition to all the work that local community groups have been undertaking to support their communities, Wiltshire Council's Wellbeing Hub has been working with specific partner agencies to provide additional support to residents who are 'shielding' or are highly vulnerable during COVID-19.
