Green and blue infrastructure
The Wiltshire Green Blue Infrastructure (GBI) Strategy will focus on the natural environment and how by creating a strong, well considered network of green and blue corridors and spaces we can support adaption and resilience to climate change, halt loss of and improve biodiversity and contribute to the health and wellbeing of our communities.
The joint public consultation on the Wiltshire Green and Blue Infrastructure Strategy and Wiltshire Climate Strategy has now closed (1 September and the 17 October 2021). However, the and documents are still available for downloading although we can no longer accept comments.
The next step will be to collate and review the responses received and revise the GBI Strategy, where appropriate, ready for adoption in Spring 2022. Thank you to everyone who attended our consultation events online and in person at local libraries and submitted questions, suggestions, and filled in the online survey. Your responses will be invaluable in taking the strategy forward.
