Wiltshire Climate and Environment Forum privacy statement

Your involvement

You may be asked to join the Wiltshire Climate and Environment Forum, based on the answers you give to the survey. The Wiltshire Climate and Environment Forum is a non-statutory body, whose recommendations are not binding. You are free to remove consent for this involvement at any time. As long as we continue to have your consent, Wiltshire Council will retain your personal data for two years if unsuccessful in your application for membership of the Forum so that you can be contacted should a vacancy arise. Details on members are retained for as long as they are on the Wiltshire Climate and Environment Forum and for a period of two years thereafter.

We may collect, store or otherwise process information about you which may include:

• telephone numbers

• age, gender, ethnicity
• Council employee/Cllr, Employment status, Community Area, Military service (serving/veteran/spouse)
• membership of local environmental organisations
• how you heard about the forum

Purpose of collecting or processing your personal data

Wiltshire Council may need to collect or otherwise process your personal data so that we can:

• contact you regarding the Wiltshire Climate and Environment Forum
• share information relevant to the work of the Wiltshire Climate and Environment Forum, including invitations to meetings, and reports on the results of those meetings
• your video and name will be visible to other forum members at the meetings
• your email address may be visible to other forum members as part of distributing documents and meeting invitations

Where we are collecting personal data about you for the provision of one of the purposes outlined in this privacy notice, we will rely upon your consent as the lawful basis to process this data. Personal data that is collected for any of the purposes outlined in this notice is never used for direct marketing purposes and is not sold on to any other third parties.

International transfers - Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside of the territorial scope of UK data protection laws.
