Skills Bootcamps
Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer. Or for employers to up skill their current staff.
Available across Wiltshire and Swindon.
Learners
Skills Bootcamps are available for learners to develop the necessary skills to secure or progress in a job, in sectors where there is a shortage of workers or skills gaps within the industry (see list below)
Learners will need to be aged 19+ and have the right to work in the UK.
Qualifications received at the end of the course will be dependent on the course provider. But you will be offered an interview with an employer (who will have a job available) at the end of the course.

Providers
You can be involved in this exciting opportunity, delivering flexible, innovative programmes allowing learners to partake who could already be in employment, or are seeking employment.
You will be required to engage with employers to get them to board and work together to design the programme as well as ensure the learner has the opportunity to interview for a live vacancy at the end of the skills bootcamps.

Employers
Skills Bootcamps are a chance for you to train your current staff to allow them to up skill and bring new skills into your business.
Large employers - 70% cost covered you pay 30%
Small and medium employers (<250) 90% cost covered you pay 10%
Or you can choose to offer an interview for a successful bootcamp learner if you have a job available.
Skills bootcamps can also offer you the opportunity to interview skills candidates. Working with a training provider, learners will take part in a fully funded training programme before being offered an interview by you. This gives you the opportunity to be involved in developing your future workforce to meet your own needs.
