Funding future Olympic and Paralympic athletes

As part of building on the success of 2012, we are working with local businesses to support rising sports stars by awarding grant funding.

Sports scholarships

Wiltshire Council, working with local businesses, has set up this grant to help support talented athletes aged between 8-18 years old who are competing at a regional or national level in either an Olympic or Paralympic sport or a sport recognised by Sport England towards future sporting success.

Wiltshire Council offers free leisure centre membership for free use of the fitness suite and pool for any Wiltshire athlete of any age who is competing is competing at a GB/National age group level in an Olympic or Paralympic sport any sport recognised by Sport England as either an individual or squad member
