Ambitious plans to transform a key site in the heart of Trowbridge town centre are set to proceed after outline planning permission was granted yesterday, 29 November 2023.

Following enforcement action by Wiltshire Council, Swindon Magistrates Court has ordered the owners of 3 High Street, Warminster, to make the building and scaffolding outside of it safe.

Wiltshire Council has worked with contractor, Rigg Construction and employer's agent, Ridge and Partners, to build five social rent and shared ownership homes on a council-owned site at New Zealand Avenue, Salisbury.

You can now borrow activity tracker watches and blood pressure monitors for up to six weeks from Salisbury and Trowbridge libraries as well as the North and South mobile libraries.

People are urged to submit applications digitally through the Wiltshire Council website to avoid unnecessary delays.
