Wiltshire Council is launching a new £1.35m grants scheme called Invest in Wiltshire to encourage businesses in the county to improve and expand their enterprises

Wiltshire Council is working in partnership with a number of local organisations and internal departments to distribute £5.4m allocated in round four of the Household Support Fund from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Residents from local care homes and assisted living schemes took part in a series of fun activities and friendly competition as part of a special event encouraging older people to stay active.

Feedback on the recent Chippenham One Plan consultation has far exceeded expectation with 1,927 responses received during the six-week consultation period.

The air quality in Bradford on Avon has improved, as levels of particulate matter have fallen below the objective set in air quality law that originally led to the town's Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) order, and as a result this part of the order has now been lifted.
