Wiltshire Council's Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub remains in place for those people who may need additional support.

The hub which was originally set-up at the start of the pandemic in March 2020. Anyone can access the hub who maybe struggling during this difficult time, this may include people who are shielding or self-isolating and don't have a support network around them or know where to get help.

The Government has written to those who have been identified as clinically extremely vulnerable to provide advice. Around 21,000 people have been identified as clinically extremely vulnerable in Wiltshire. Wiltshire Council will make contact with those people to make them aware of the hub and the support available.

People can call the hub Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm on 0300 003 4576 or email wellbeinghub@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window). The opening hours will continue to be regularly reviewed, and we will notify people of any changes to these in a timely way..

Cllr Philip Whitehead, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said:

The GOV.UK website and our own web pages have a lot of key information which is there to keep people up to date on the support available.

However as we all adapt to this new way of living and the further national restrictions, there might be some people who need a little more.

The hub has been an ongoing source of support and comfort for people throughout the pandemic and will continue to be there if people need us.

People who require help with tasks such as picking up food and other essentials, should ask friends or family or order online. If they do not have family or friends that can help, they can contact the Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub and request help.

Many queries may also be answered at the  GOV.UK: Guidance New National Restrictions from 5 November (opens new window) or our COVID-19 page, where there is a wealth of information on the latest Government advice and restrictions.
