Wiltshire Council's Design Guide, which will help to ensure future developments in the county are consistently of a high-quality design, was approved for adoption by Council on 20 February and is now a supplementary planning document

Wiltshire Council's Cabinet agreed earlier this week (Tuesday 6 February) that its Wiltshire Design Guide, which will help to ensure future developments in the county are consistently of a high-quality design, should go forward for formal adoption at this month's Full Council meeting

People are urged to submit applications digitally through the Wiltshire Council website to avoid unnecessary delays.

Wiltshire Council is increasing its partnership working with Wiltshire Police to conduct roadside checks on people carrying waste in order to disrupt and prosecute fly-tippers. These people are breaking both stay at home government guidance and fly-tipping laws.

Part of the Ridgeway National Trail in Wiltshire will be closed to motor vehicles over the spring and summer months to enable repair works to be completed.
