Wiltshire Council will be investing more into helping people who are homelessness and have been rough sleeping into stable, long term accommodation after being successful in bidding for £1m government funding.

Locals to open their homes during county-wide Green Open Homes week 9 - 17 March 2024.

Wiltshire Council has worked with contractor, Redcliffe Homes and employer's agent, Ridge and Partners, to build three affordable rent and nine shared ownership homes on a section 106 site at Rowden Brook, Chippenham

Wiltshire Council has renewed its housing partnership with the charity Alabaré, to give people in Wiltshire who find themselves homeless, support and accommodation.

Eligible Wiltshire students and their families are being reminded of the support available if they need to self-isolate as a household due to COVID-19.

People are being urged to follow the Government's guidance and keep themselves and their loved ones safe over the Easter break

The update on COVID-19 in Wiltshire will start at 5.30pm

Community testing is available for symptom-free people who work for small businesses, private non-maintained early years settings, and childminders

Cllr Philip Whitehead, Wiltshire Council Leader said, "Following the Prime Minister's announcement about the timetable for the lifting of restrictions over the next few months, we will continue to work to support schools, businesses, residents and our staff to ensure restrictions can be lifted safely across Wiltshire.
