A Wiltshire business owner has been prosecuted after selling a disposable e-cigarette to a child.

Wiltshire Council is encouraging people who live on the Kennet and Avon canal, on leisure, residential or non- residential moorings, who were not previously eligible for government support under the Energy Bill Support Scheme Alternative Funding (EBSS-AF) to apply now.

The council funds 19 residents at Furlong Close, with 13 other residents funded by 12 other local authorities

The prosecution was brought following a history of poor compliance and a succession of interventions with the business to try to improve standards without success.

The council is encouraging these people to consider fostering and help meet the demand for more people to foster with Wiltshire Council

People wanting to report domestic abuse will be able to access a new out of hours number from this week.

A community support service which has been available in eight areas in Wiltshire is being restructured and expanded to provide wider support across the whole county.
