Wiltshire Council social workers have been sharing their experiences of being a social worker and the benefits of working for the council as they celebrate Social Work Week.

Wiltshire Council has launched a new support service to help people that are medically fit to leave hospital and continue their recovery in a safe environment while regaining the daily living skills and confidence they need to return to their own home.

Wiltshire Council is putting out a call for people considering a career in care to join them in a new service which helps people gain independence after a hospital stay.

There's still time for local people to feed into and help shape the vision for Future Chippenham as the online questionnaire is available until noon on Friday 7 January 2022.

People are urged to submit applications digitally through the Wiltshire Council website to avoid unnecessary delays.
