Wiltshire Council free Summer FUEL programme
Wiltshire Council successfully delivered the Government's Holiday Activity and Food programme to over 1,800 young people during four weeks of the summer holidays. The programme, which aims to provide children eligible for benefits related free school meals with free access to high quality activities and nutritious meals, was delivered across Wiltshire using the brand FUEL and was funded by the Department for Education.

Wiltshire Council is launching a year-long campaign involving schools, libraries and communities to encourage people of all ages to delve into reading. The Wiltshire Year of Reading starts today (27 September 2021) encouraging everyone from very young children to older adults to enjoy the written word.
