Government grant to support people this winter

Wiltshire Council will once again be delivering the Government's Holiday Activity and Food programme in Wiltshire during the school Christmas holiday. Funded by the Department of Education, the programme provides children who are eligible for benefits related free school meals with free activity and food provision during school holiday periods. The programme is being delivered in partnership with Learn By Design, Occasional Kitchen and Purely Nutrition in Wiltshire.

The Employment and Community Skills Team won the Best Sustainable Travel Initiative - Education Award and the Contribution to Sustainable Travel Award

A new campaign is being launched this November to find foster homes for 23 children and young people who live in the Devizes area.

We are working closely with charity Splitz so people in Wiltshire who need to escape abuse and make positive life changes are supported when they need help
