The former operator of a restaurant in Salisbury has pleaded guilty and been fined for ten charges of poor hygiene practices found by Wiltshire Council's Food and Safety Team

A Wiltshire woman has been prosecuted by Wiltshire Council for not having an identification tag on a collar or a microchip registered for her dog.

The resident appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court on Tuesday 4 January and pleaded guilty to the fly-tipping offence

Wiltshire Council is introducing a new single number for its housing enquiries from the New Year. From 4th January the Housing Advice Service will have a single entry point for all enquiries. On that date all old numbers, including different numbers for different areas, will stop working and people can ring through on one number 0300 456 0106.

Council programme sees families move into new homes in Chippenham

Wiltshire Council entered into a funding agreement with Homes England on Friday (18 December 2020) securing £75 million of Housing Infrastructure Funding.

Wiltshire Council has received £41,380 in further government funding to help rough sleepers in the county.

In Wiltshire, the current local need and target is 2,006 homes each year
