With Christmas only a few weeks away, Wiltshire Council is sharing top tips on what people can do with their waste including electrical items, wrapping paper and packaging over the festive season.

Wiltshire Council has issued fixed penalty notices (FPNs) of £400 each to a resident from Calne and another resident from the Southampton area for dumping waste in Sainsbury's car parks in Calne and Royal Wootton Bassett.

Wiltshire Council is introducing a new single number for its housing enquiries from the New Year. From 4th January the Housing Advice Service will have a single entry point for all enquiries. On that date all old numbers, including different numbers for different areas, will stop working and people can ring through on one number 0300 456 0106.
