The centre will benefit from a complete refurbishment. The project will deliver a new fitness suite; the new gym will be twice the size of the existing gym and will include state-of-the-art equipment. The wet change facilities will also be entirely reconfigured, delivering a modern village change area. The designs for the new centre can be found in the library and the leisure centre reception.
The building work will be completed in phases. It is our intention to keep the centre and its facilities open during the build process. There may be, as could be expected, some disruption during the build process, but, we will keep you updated throughout. We also know that this disruption may impact on you in terms of your membership and usage, so we do plan to recognise that in terms of your membership cost in due course.
We are currently in the process of procuring the main contractor for the works. Work is expected to begin on site in the Spring of this year and conclude in 2020. We will be able to provide more detailed information once the main contractor is appointed and timescales are better known.
Thank you in advance for your patience. We hope you will agree this is a very exciting time for Calne Leisure Centre. If you have any questions please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.orgClose
